I have tried many to-do list apps during my 10+ years of freelancing, but for various reasons, I always gave them up after a while—mostly due to their complexity (registering, logging in, organizing multiple lists, etc.). The tool I used for the longest time was either pen and paper or a simple text editor.

Finally, I was able to create the app I truly want to use on a daily basis. I’m sharing it because it may be useful for others as well. It helps you prioritize by displaying a maximum of seven list items at a time, while the rest fade away. It can also serve as a great alternative to read-it-later tools, sticky notes, and more.

How It Works

  • A maximum of 7 list items are visible at a time.
  • You can add more items, but to display them, you need to remove others from the visible list.
  • You can have up to three separate lists at a time (A, B, C).
  • Pasted links in the list are clickable.
  • The list is stored locally in your browser and does not expire. You can close and reopen your list at any time, provided you use the same browser.
  • This app relies solely on your browser’s capabilities. No data is stored or processed on a server. Avoid using the app on public computers for sensitive information.
  • Lists will not be saved if your browser is in incognito mode.
